November 3, 2020 by Sudhir Kaushik 1 Comment

What is ITR V?

Income Tax Return Verification (ITR-V) is a receipt sent by the Income Tax Department acknowledging that the taxpayer has successfully filed the income tax return. If you have not filed your ITR this year then first select the suitable package and file your ITR with the help of Tax Spanner.
It is mandatory for you to verify your return to complete the process of return filing if you have not digitally signed your ITR. In order to receive ITR V acknowledgment, the taxpayer has to verify his tax return within 120 days of filing his tax return. There are 6 ways to verify your ITRs out of which 5 are online methods and 1 is offline.
